Night ascent of the 1,717-meter-high Mount Batur for experienced hikers.
A rewarding challenge for experienced hikers is the ascent of sacred Mount Batur, 1,717 meters high. You are picked up from your hotel in South Bali at 01:30 at night. Around 04:00 in the morning, the climb begins by flashlight.
At daybreak, your effort is rewarded with a breathtaking view of Bali's mountain world and, with a little luck, even Lombok's Mount Rinjani.
