East Bali full-day tour to Kerta Gosa, the Mother Temple Besakih and Penglipuran village.
Traveling along the east coast, you stop at the palace of Klungkung, once the seat of Bali's most important royal house. It includes the historic Kerta Gosa courthouse from the 17th century. The next stop is Besakih, the Mother Temple, at the foot of 3,142-meter Mount Agung. Lunch is served in a scenic restaurant overlooking the surrounding rice terraces. Afterwards you continue to Penglipuran, a traditional Balinese village known worldwide for its cleanliness, preserved culture and lush bamboo forest.

Itinerary and notes
- 08:00 AM | Hotel Pickup – After a warm welcome, you will board a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and head east.
- Kerta Gosa Historic Courthouse – Your first stop takes you to the former royal capital of Klungkung, where you will visit the historic courthouse. Your guide will explain the fascinating traditional ceiling paintings depicting judgments and the law of karma.
- Pura Besakih Mother Temple – You will arrive at Bali’s holiest and largest temple complex, majestically perched at the foot of the mighty Mount Agung. Here, you will explore the impressive terraces and shrines while immersing yourself deeply in the island's spirituality.
- Lunch with a View & Rice Terraces – After your temple visit, it is time for lunch at a local restaurant offering a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Afterward, you will enjoy the view of the region's lush green rice terraces.
- Penglipuran Traditional Village – You will visit one of the cleanest and best-preserved traditional villages in the world. Stroll through the neat alleys and take a peek into typical Balinese compounds to experience the authentic daily life of the residents firsthand.
- Mystical Bamboo Forest – Directly behind the village of Penglipuran lies a massive, untouched bamboo forest. A walk beneath the tall, rustling bamboo stalks provides a refreshing and magical conclusion to your sightseeing program.
- Return to Hotel – You will bid farewell to the mountainous region and begin your relaxed journey back to your accommodation.
